Policy
RELIEF POLICY
Our guards are entitled to one day off duty every week. There is always a provision for relieve guards based on proper arrangement between the company and our clients.
The essence of having a relieve guards is to cover up the duty of guards that would be observing their off-days so that the required and approved number would be maintained at any point in time.
REFRESHER COURSE
In addition to the above, we also recall operatives for retraining quarterly in order to meet with the challenges of their duty posts. Pep talks are also arranged for operatives in their various beats by their Duty Officers to make them alive to their responsibilities. Re-training is done to enhance job performance.
WEEKLY REVIEW MEETING
It is our practice, where acceptable to the clients, to involve our Duty Officers/Supervisors to hold a weekly consultation with clients’ line Managers on problems identified with a view to finding lasting solutions to them.
In addition, we encourage the formation of a Joint Security Committee made up of 2 representatives each from the contractors and clients. This committee meets once every month and is charged with providing solutions to problems identified on both sides.
A schedule of monthly meetings can be agreed upon one year in advance and forwarded to you.
RESPONSE TO DISTRESS CALL
Most of the distress calls occurring during the course of any day’s duty are usually cases of theft, housebreaking, and discovery of unauthorized entrants, intruders trying to gain access into the premises, breach of security and other incidents.
Here the response must be swift and fast, the patrol car driver and commanding officer-in-charge must move immediately to the scene.
We are equipped with walkie-talkies, GSM handsets, fast moving patrol vehicles and well trained staff to tackle emergencies and attend to distress calls.
We equally have a robust relationship with the police such that, we are able to contact them at the shortest possible time with an assurance of prompt action on their side.
REPORTING PROCEDURES
It is our practice to provide our clients with monthly reports on security services provided for the duration of the contract. This does not include providing separate incidents reports outlining particular incidents reasons and corrective action being implemented.
Our main contact manager who will be responsible for the contract will write a report on a monthly basis and send it to your designated officer
